AutoCAD Electrical

Course Overview

AUTOCAD Electrical:

AutoCAD Architecture architectural design software from Autodesk speeds documentation for architectural drafting and design. AutoCAD is a software application for 2D and 3D computer-aided design (CAD) and mapping – has been available as a desktop application since 1982 and has been available as a mobile web and cloud-based application since 2010, currently as AutoCAD 360 Sales., The AutoCAD electrical course will involve students in the 3D modeling process. This course will teach students to convert 2D drawings into 3D models. This is an instructor-led course involving multiple hands-on examples. The hands-on course will provide students with many practical tips and tricks for AutoCAD 3D.

Course Objectives

  • AutoCAD originally came from a program called Interact, which was written in a proprietary language. The first version of the software uses only primitive entities such as polygons, circles, lines, arcs, and text to construct complex objects. Later, it supports custom objects through the C++ application programming interface.
  • AutoCAD supports many APIs for customization and automation. These include AutoLISP, Visual LISP, VBA, .NET, and ObjectARX. ObjectARX is a C++ class library,.
  • AutoCAD drafters use 2D and 3D computer-aided drafting software applications to prepare blueprints and plans for construction, construction and manufacturing projects.

Career Opportunities & Placement

Drafting work. Drafters uses software such as AutoCAD Electrical to convert engineer or architect designs into technical drawings and blueprints. These drawings will be used to create structures, tools or machines. The design also includes specifications for dimensions, materials and procedures.

AutoCAD is the most popular CADD software with the highest overall job market demand. There are also specialized AutoCAD versions and other Autodesk products designed for drafters of specific job roles and industries.
